Special Capital Region of Jakarta known as Jakarta is the Capital City of Indonesia.
It lies on the Northwest Coast of Java as the world's most populous island.
Jakarta extends over only 699.5 square kilometres making it the smallest area of any Indonesian province.
Its metropolitan area covers 6,392 square kilometres and is the world's second-most populous urban area.
Jakarta is one of the most developed city in the world, making it one of an alpha world city and/or megapolitan city.
It consist of five administrative divisions which are
Central Jakarta,
West Jakarta,
South Jakarta,
East Jakarta,
and North Jakarta where I live.
Jakarta is a huge, sprawling metropolis, home to over 10 million people with diverse ethnic group backgrounds from all over Indonesia.
Not only Jakarta is the seat of the national government and the provincial government, but it is also Indonesia’s political center. Moreover, Jakarta is the hub of Indonesia’s national finance and trade.
Jakarta has become a dynamic city with activities taking place around-the-clock throughout it's populated areas.
